Poems of the Foot

Oh the loveliest sounds over fill the fragile ear
Of the fragile human that we come to become
When we hear songs of burning brightly
We sing right along

Freedom to tread and fret and scream louder
Reaches our lungs as we carry our voice through emotions
And not breath, not stomached, just by the bare throat
Well, we'll sing right along anyways

And the smallest of the largest crowds take to the streets
To meet their eyes with the one who dreams of change
By leading a pack of those with the same visions of music
Most definitely, we'll sing right along

One last song to sing as the sun goes finally down
The song of higher hopes used with outer instruments
If only you were smaller and we could all be closer
But regardless, we'll sing right along
