Losing One, Losing All

Since we've left this house
We've gone so distant from
Yet not far enough for the clocks to change
Seldom left behind in reasoning

Times are cold
Since you've left home
Abandoning all that I was
And I've seen enough to know
That you still loved me

The steps you take
Go heavy yet unheard
Secretly tilting back
To me

And from the glow in the dark sun
To the grave of my remedy
I will not lose hope
I will glare at you again

Through tears, oppression, empty cups
Half filled dinner tables
When my heart rots
Is when my eyes will become hopeful
