When the loss of one thing leads to the next
What more can go wrong?
Is it really because it's not meant to happen?
When everything fails and falls
Where's the shining in all of this?
You can't have bright darkness
And though this shadow of destruction is omni present
A light burns bright through it all
When events you wish for never happen
The fear of patience consumes what's left of you
I'm taken by what's left alone
But I still cling to the only thing that holds me together
Hold on to what's still alive
As the moments begin to fade away
It's the only way to survive
As the gas is running out, so does the glass of sand
Time isn't waiting for you to wait on time
Simplicity still stands. Look ahead, and it will become evident that there is no end in sight
So press on to what you have
The mountains and oceans hold you back
But they still turn with the earth
What more can you do with the ever passing time?
Nothing. There is nothing to hope for now
Don't wish for what has happened to happen again
What you have is not a waste, so look for what's left to use what you have
Above all else, ask for The Way. You will be lead home
Beyond the ashes, seek for the Truth. Understanding will follow
After the aftermath, open the doors to The Life. You only have one
For living a lie becomes a horrific beauty
Blame it on the fashion of time. But never lose yourself.
