Such Beautiful Breath

We now sit at dinner tables
Made of such clear yet opaque glass
So looking through and poetic
Like pages filled to brim the soulless heart

As the white snow steals our glance
And we come to realize that
Out of the hot chocolate that shapes the cup
Life is still, and always still

Around the corner, a birth is here
From lady given a graceful babe
In months so cold to freeze our hearts
As we remember the nothing we are

Lest faulty memory leads astray
We are again learning to step
Into restlessness and indignity
Knowing that the the first breath has saved us

Snow melts like my heart
Knowing such a thing exists
In a something that leaves me
All oh speechless

Freed with question
Yet certain of redemption
As we exclaim "come faithful"
Since it is such a beautiful mantra

wow why are you copying my ideas
and using them into cool words?

jk, jk, lol, jk (8) (everlindt: "jk theme")

but yah. this is very much like (and more so unlike) what i just wrote in lettheletters.blogspot.com

i think less is more in your case, i always enjoy your short poems more than the longs ones, xpt for one long one that was really raw but long time ago. even though you don't even write those many long ones. but just some constructive criticism. if you don't need this today, just ignore it and move along, because i am only one voice among many. constructive criticism kills me, but builds me up stronger: i don't know if i like it or not.

this is very real christmas spirit-like, we should read this during christmas eve service.
