I Promise I'll Take You Home

As snow trails make for the gates
As the sun just passes over my head
To remember how the rhythm flows
And to apply that to the full praise

It's only awkward when they say
That skill is worth the eyes
Is it really me holding the notes
Or is it just hearts brimmed with love?

But now, as days make haste
Efficiency begins to fade
Now as the day will come
We improvise the very notes we sing

Now I see that reuniting is only insanity
But it goes to show this fervent love
That flies within the spirit
May we not see separate ways

A message to you, my good friend
If anything was learnt the day I admitted
Surrounding yourself will only kill you
Be still and breathe, and listen to the silence

3 two cents' worth:

whoever your good friend is,
be it the universe,
a girl or a boy:
i hope they get it.

your poems always leave me wondering.
i think that is good, because if i guessed out loud and you said yes, the entire world a word encompasses would fade and then only half or reality (metaphorical or not) would be seen.

verification word:
"ilows" - i love doubleyous,
Ev.
