We Are the Nothings

Awake to another day where empty cups
And lifeless skeletons walk the Earth
And on this ground beneath my grip
Just a million times, we've found our worth

I guess I'll just sit still, as water does at peace
And play through the motions, between ever crease
Catch up on what's left, just to stay sane
Life may be redundant, but it was never my game

So I'll just go away, dream to another place
Just to see all these eyes again
And hope to see your God-blessed face
So we can speak words away

But, sure you didn't show, and left me with others
Left to see them die with their worries and bothers
But your soul is pure, so God take it home
So your bones would break these sticks and stones
