Connect

Today took the questions and sold them to my sleep
Questions of awkward activists and nursing to health
But just as the bleeding gash meets the air
It solidifies, and I've found my repose

Stories of everything I've heard and saw with fresh eyes
Ring like the bells of time that have started to play over and over
All of it can now dwell in the reasoning that I find You
And like the mountain sings, I'll sing the song of connection

And it's by the melodies and words, and the thought of mind
That I feel the cords between us twine together
Such crosses thrown down from above to stand for myself
You saved me, I'll reach for You

So now with nothing left but weakness in my bones
Take my hands and pull me over
Meet me where I stand alone in the rain and blinking clouds
And if I lose myself in the forest, be the trail, I miss home

The last line is sad and vulnerable... it makes my heart so heavy.

Read mine, do you ever?

Last night's sharing was 9 minutes long... I don't know if you planned ahead what you were going to say, but it was well done and pulled together so well, praise the Lord! I beam, again and again.
