One Prayer

Hearts could be warmer, if only they were tied
With a big red ribbon that stretches from the ground to the stars
When we sing songs as if we were one big unit
Is when the ceiling shall crack of the sky fallen down

When creation screams this one prayer at the top
Of their short lungs that hold nothing but the sad thoughts
That we breathe in, breathe out so desperately
Is when the nations will sink from all of our noise

When my own small eyes meet those of foreign places
This is the moment I live for, to sing a new song with a new people
Through the chaos of doubt and unbelief
And my ineloquent speech of tiresome desperation

I'm just tired, so tired from the night and it's length
But hopeful of a wall coming down to see the other side
To see the reality that has been prayed for already
Be the answer, shout it out, be the answer

Yes. So, so tired.
Keep praying!
Remember: the entire week!

Word Verification: thersure.
They're sure of what?
