Should you lose yourself in a puddle-shaped misconception
That you so believed was the escape from reality
Have we not seen this before with such familiar eyes
Not so foreign to this, are you?
Because lies can be your best friend
Until you crumble right at the end
And realize that the trees have all bent
In a heart so false because you don't pretend
Say the words you hear over and over
That differ no more than selfish desire
But when divine words fall on deaf ears
We call it the greatest fall ever
Because the truth will be your best shot
If you said it right at the start
And realize that this is all you've got
From hands so cold, but a movement so hot
