The Earth as We Know It

Just hold the world as you fragilely know it
When time signatures change and veins beat off
When right is survival and wrong is within bones
The Earth as we know it is coming to a close

How can we say that we have no helping at all
That when everything is melting off our hands
We can simply justify with the lack of help
The Earth as we know it has reasoned to excuse

But time will show up and reveal the liars we are
Where existentialism is alive without romances
Plight is control just to shove up the sky
Whose fault is to blame now

Maybe sin and vice and verse love the way we restrict
Where we're not humble enough to trust another's broken hand
When the hand is reaching for yours, seventy seven miles from nowhere
We can only suggest you take hold of it soon
