it is being told the uncomfortable truth
that many words is thievery of breath
that overbearing care truly exists
but the truth is like an itching sweater

it is irritating and swift to annoyance
and the wicked heart is prone to take it off
but it keeps me warm in the coldest of nights
and saves me from the biting frost

so the time to pull out familiar words
is fitting and by the maker's hands
help me to not recklessly renounce this moment
but stand firm in honour and grace
