Grace, My Fears Relieved

With reckless abandon, our hopes stay shaped
This grace, my sorrows bled dry
Some death and sin, the fame it craves
And leaves broken with nothing left to cry

But today, tonight I have failed You
As I'm indifferent to these statistics too
Left me shattered under my warmth
My knees now bleeding after the storm

But if only I ask, You bring me home
With the dust off my shoulders again
And now I pray, as I find alone
That this grace, through my life, will remain

These tears have ran back to some oasis
And now I head down, tomorrow see new faces
As the lights go out for just one day
Tomorrow I pause, with this habit today
